ince I was 19 I wanted to make a snowboard movie. Not a corporate brief, not a client deliverable — just a film about snowboarding, made by people who love it.

It started with a DM on Instagram. I reached out, got connected to four professional snowboarders who were looking for an editor, we met and everything clicked. Pancake Productions was born.

Our riders compete at World Cups, Euro Cups and one qualified for the Olympic Games. But honestly — they’re just my friends now. We go out into the backcountry, find a spot, build a jump, hit it and film it. I’m part of the crew. Sometimes I still can’t believe that’s my job.

Together we create backcountry and freestyle snowboard content for YouTube. I handle everything: concept, filming on location, editing and YouTube strategy. In under two years we’ve built a community of 1,500 subscribers from scratch in a niche market.

Some work pays the bills. This one feeds the soul.
